Required Materials
A binder or something to keep your printed music in.
Binders should be 1” and have 3 rings as well as a pocket.
If you use an iPad, I highly recommend the app ForScore.
Any other tablet or device must have an easy way to mark-up scores, or it will not be allowed as an acceptable form for your sheet music. Use this tutorial for a Google Chrome extension that will allow you to annotate PDF’s.
3-4 Pencils
Should be wooden so that you can easily sharpen them, or mechanical with extra lead/erasers.
If you use a tablet or iPad, I highly recommend having an Apple Pencil or stylus of some sort to aid in marking your music more easily.
8-10 sheets of manuscript paper. (Free HERE).
1 reusable straw (I recommend these, but any reusable straw works— split a pack with your friends!)
There are special Singing Straws that are not necessary, but I highly recommend.
Concert attire (outlined in the handbook, but TBA with different restrictions on concerts).
One of the following 3 items, for classroom use:
1 high quality polymer eraser
1 box of kleenex
1 pad sticky notes
